My Course Work 2 - AT20900-002 (Properly Soldering)
Soldering Step By Step
In this blog post, I am going to introduce the soldering we have done in our AT209 Lab.
- With Record Notes Attached
1. Use the cleaning paste to properly clean the soldering tip.
Note: To make it shiny and clean. This removes the impurities on the surface.
2. Cut the wire cover with the wire stripper at 24 gauge.
Note: Strip for about 0.4 inches of the wire cover.
3. Twist the wire.
4. Tinning the wire.
Note: This makes the soldering of two wires easier. (To creat better contact pts on both wires.
5. After tinning. clean the soldering tip on a RO water-soaked sponge.
Note: RO water contains fewer minerals.
6. in Final soldering, the two wires need to be soldered into a smooth parallel surface, with not too much of the melted soldering.
